ES Tech Diaries – Week of August 14th 2015
— PlanbookEdu – Many-a-success stories with both new and existing users of this collaborative lesson planning tool! Please sign-up here if you are interested in an opportunity to learn and/ or share about PlanbookEdu. Depending on the sign ups, we will figure out a date and time.
— IXL – It’s ready for use! You can sign-in and create your class rosters. New teachers would have received an email about their IXL login credentials.
— Raz-kids – We are working on updating the existing class rosters and adding new students. These will also be ready to use early next week.
— Student usernames/ passwords – Thanks to Gitane for leading the work on consolidating the student login credentials for various web-based services (Mail, Drive, Blog, Evernote, IXL). These will be shared as soon as they are ready.
— iPad covers – We are waiting for them to be delivered. If you can hold-off on sticking labels on the iPads until the covers arrive, it will be great! Feel free to label student ipads if they already have covers.
— Tech Support – The main Tech office requests for you to give as many details as possible (in the ticket comment box section) of the issue that you are seeking support for. It will be helpful for them to diagnose and resolve issues.
— Technology Integration
- — Second graders are using the WordPress app to blog about the classroom beliefs
- — First graders are using the Camera and Pic Collage apps for a scavenger hunt
If you would like to share anything that’s going on in your classroom, please let me know.
